SPANISH/ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAINING

Consortium members understand the importance of promoting greater understanding of the major languages of their respective countries.

Students from Canada and US universities preparing for an exchange in Mexico will be supported in pursuing basic Spanish training prior to departure. The Mexico partner universities will supplement this with additional Spanish language (as a second language) training opportunities for students coming there. Conversely, students from Mexico travelling to Canada or the US will have acquired basic English language capacity prior to departure, and will be supported in obtaining additional language competence subsequent to arrival.
